Waking Up Dead

So, I’ve been sitting on an announcement for WuD for a few weeks, and I have finally made my mind up. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been tweeting about working about every day lately, and I’ve even mentioned here, I have increased my workload. Generally, I’ve been working to pump out 2 pages a week. So far, my work schedule has been going well. I’ve gotten 2 pages in a buffer (As of now, I just finished page 2-13), and I’ve been working a little each day, with some exception.

When I went to New York Comic Con, I saw Lar DeSouza and Ryan Sohmer, the creators of Looking for Group and Least I Could Do at a panel about breaking out into webcomics. They said to start out posting as much as you can make, and when you can work make more, post more.

If you haven’t figured it out, I’ll tell you right here and now:

Starting next week, Waking Up Dead will be updating on Tuesdays and Fridays!

Yes, that’s right! 2 Pages a week! I’ve been working my ass off, and I feel like I can now do it. I was writing Issue 4’s script, and realized it would take over a year to get to that point! Seeing as how you still don’t know everyone in the main cast, that was ridiculous, so I needed to find a way to get through stories a little faster.

Anyway, this week has been pretty uneventful. I know a lot is going on, as Dexter’s Series Finale was last Sunday, and Breaking Bad’s Series Finale is this Sunday, but I wasn’t able to watch the latest episodes of either. I’ll catch up sometime this week with Erin, but for now, I have been very careful to avoid spoilers.

Other than that, I’ve been playing the crap out of Pokémon Black 2 lately. I’m keeping myself up to date on all Pokémon X/Y News lately, and I am really excited for it. I’m going to be staying in Queens that weekend, so I’m planning my purchase wisely. If anyone wants to play Pokémon with me, leave a comment below, and we can trade Friend Codes.
