So, this might just be the darkest WuD page thus far. Fun-fact, I actually had to buy some splatter brushes for this page, as I lost all the old ones I used when I transitioned from Photoshop. This also means I lost all of the brushes I used to make the Waking Up Dead logo, so I may need to recreate it in the future.

So, as all of the American readers will know, yesterday was Independence Day. Although I had work last night (that sweet, sweet holiday pay), I was able to go into the city on Saturday to celebrate with Janie and her friends. It’s such a surreal feeling, knowing that soon, I won’t be in New York, and city visits are going to be a thing of the past. At the very least, it’ll be nice not to have to deal with the Long Island Railroad anymore.

I’m excited, as next week, I’m going to be visiting my new place in Arizona. I really can’t wait. I still have some preparations I need to make (saving up some money, planning the route, etc.), but it’s kind of exciting knowing that this is really happening. That I’m leaving the nest. That I’m finally setting out on my own adventure.

Honestly, it took long enough.

Anyway, that’s all for now. I’ll see you people next week for some more Waking Up Dead.
