Seriously, I need to figure out this sleep thing. It’s really bugging me, and it’s getting in the way of the comic. I’m putting my foot down.

Anyway, not much has happened as of late. Just work, Dark Souls II (DLC), this comic, and spending Sunday and Tuesday nights with Jessica.

I managed to read the first two issues of the Spider-Verse event on Tuesday, and let me tell you, it is great. I’m really interested to see where it is going. As for what I can tell at the moment, there are two teams of Spider-Men: One is led by Superior Spider-Man (Otto Octavious in Peter’s Body, alive only through convolution) which features Spider-Man Noir, Assassin Spider-Man, and Spider-Man India, among others, with a much darker tone. The other, larger group is led by Spider-UK, Marvel’s Captain Brittan from an alternate reality where he was bitten by the Spider, featuring more heroic Spider-Men such as Ben Reilly, the 616 Spider-Man (main continuity), Cosmic Spider-Man, Spider-Ham, and a version of Last Stand Spider-Man. The Last Stand Spider-Man stands out to me, because it seems like the other characters don’t know who he is, implying he might not be Earth-312500 Peter’s Parker (and I have a hunch on who it might be). We’ve already seen a bunch of casualties in these two issues, so this is going to be epic.

Anyway, enough nerding out. I don’t want to spoil anything if you’re going to read it, but I’ll just say you can pre-order the hardcover collected edition, including all of the tie-ins* on Amazon, and it comes out in May. Just a thought.

See you all on Tuesday. Peace!

*Does not include the Edge of Spider-Verse 5-issue miniseries.
