Typical that, right after I make a big post about how I’m going to get back on track with the comic, my Tablet breaks.

Currently, I can only use my tablet via the wireless adapter that came with it, as the thing won’t connect to my computer via the included (or any) mini-USB. Even worse, since the port is broken, there is no way to charge the battery for the Wireless adapter, so I was working on the above page under a time-limit.

See, the Wacom Intuos Pro is prone to issues with the poorly designed mini-USB port on the side.* Many Amazon reviews have been written complaining about this lackluster design. Luckily, due to those reviews, I decided when asking for it (it was a birthday gift in 2014), to also ask for a warranty. I submit a claim earlier, and I’m still waiting on it being reviewed.

Anyway, that whole cluster aside, I’m doing well. Jessica was accepted into her first choice of Grad School, and is getting a full-ride! We plan to celebrate on Friday.

Lately I’ve been trying to compile a portfolio to start applying to real careers. I really am not making enough money at my day job, and with Jessica’s acceptance, I’m looking to move out before the end of the year. Also, if you recall, my goal for the end of the year is to no longer work in retail… That might be a stretch, as I might have to find some transitional job between my current one and a career.

Anyway, I’ll stop there for now. A lot has happened in the past month, and I really don’t have the patience to list it all. I’ll likely see you all next week, as I try to get my tablet fixed, and get myself back into some semblance of a work schedule.

It should be noted that I absolutely love my Intuos Pro, and highly recommend it despite the lackluster mini-USB design. If you are looking for a tablet, and have the money to spare, buy one. Also, I’ve heard that newer ones have the problem fixed, but don’t quote me on that. See the disclaimer at the bottom of the site.
