That’s the proof that Mark and Terry are such good friends—when he sees his friend getting his ass handed to him he just laughs.

Sorry that this page took way longer than it should have to get up. Last week, I was staying at my Aunt’s apartment watching her cats, and realized I didn’t have access to a scanner. On top of that, I’ve felt like I’m having trouble focusing lately—at least on the things that matter.

Besides all of that, nothing much else is going on in my life. I was able to secure a NYCC ticket last week (Saturday only, unfortunately), and I’ve kind of just been working at my day job whilst waiting through the hiring process for the new one.

Anywho, I’ll see you all later with more Waking Up Dead!

[EDIT:]

OH CRAP! I almost forgot!

So, I’ve been a fan of the webcomic Ctrl+Alt+Del (Warning: Less safe for work than WuD) since around 2007. Back in 2011, the main storyline ended. When I read the final page, I was beside my ex Erin in a hotel room for my cousin’s wedding. Needless to say, the ending hit me pretty damn hard—I was pretty much in tears at the fact that it was the last time I would be able to read about the lives of those characters I loved so much.

Well, recently, series creator Tim Buckley announced a Kickstarter for the collected edition of the the first 10 years of the comic. Three volumes of comics, 2 of the main story, and one of all of the side-comics. Needless to say, I pledged $100 (no small amount for me) for the complete collection.

However, he announced, after reaching twice the original goal, that if they were to reach $500,000, he would add an additional 8-page epilogue to the main story. At this point, he is $98k from hitting this goal. I urge you, if you only donate a dollar, please contribute to this collection. I would love nothing more than to see what Tim has in his head for the epilogue. CAD and its representation of its characters and their lives is a huge influence for how Will, Steve, Mark, and Terry interact outside of Will’s training.

Anyway, now, for real, I’ll see you on Friday.
