Waking Up Dead

So, yesterday was really weird.

I pretty much slept 2/3 of the day, and I felt really out of it when I was awake. My class was canceled last night, and I had to cancel Comic Club because some concert had booked the room over us. Additionally, I’ve found today that my class is cancelled today.

Weird.

Well, I’m actually feeling much better today. I’m thinking I’ll whip out a page or two of WuD.

On a similar note, I really like this week’s update. It’s your first look into the heads of the characters and into their personalities. More of this coming up.

In other news, Roosterteeth, the masterminds behind “Red Vs Blue” and other amazing web content had a Dead Space contest via their daughter-site, Achievement Hunter. Now, for those of you who don’t actually know me, Dead Space is one of my favorite video game franchises. I just love it. I can’t get enough of it. I love the lore, the comics, everything about it. When they announced the Dev-Team Edition of Dead Space 3, you know I had to have it. It was announced right around my birthday, so of course, the begging began (I’m a poor college kid, forgive me). Unfortunately, it sold out before I could get one. Worse, half of the copies immediately (and before being shipped out) were up on ebay. I complained for a few days, surfed ebay longingly, and moved on.

Anyway, Roosterteeth had a copy, and were giving it away in a contest in honor of the Dead Space 3 DLC: Create an image of what Teamwork means to you in Dead Space. Well, after 2 days of working, I managed to scrape this comic together for a submission. I’m hoping I actually stand a chance. Here’s a link to the contest. Tell me if you think I stand a chance.
